Maladrink: /mal-a-drink/ “I hadn’t been drinking alcohol” Kimberly insisted, “when I sent out that office-wide e-mail.” Although few people believed her, Kimberly was telling the truth: she had been drinking an unfortunate combination of 5 Hour Energy and Monster Juice when she informed everyone of her intention to press charges against sweaters for being lazy. Maliciously good word

Ethanolopression: /ETHANOLOPRESSION/ As he machanically scrolled through about a dozen e-mails from giddy co-workers, the events of last evening began to take shape. Slowly, almost lazily, the dim suspicion of something being vaguely out of place began to yield to an outright dread as his gaze fell on the last message. That one was from Mr. Goldenshlock himself. The e-mail quoted Jake’s own message to the entire company in which he described the etymology of the world “shlock” and advised Jake where he can pick up his last paycheck. Overcome by utter ethanolopression, Jake grabbed for the bottle with the last two drops of tequila and finished it off without thinking of the worm that stuck to his uvula. Etymology: “Ethanol” – two carbon alcohol compound ubiquitous to all alcoholic beverages.
“Pression” – root word from “depression.
(Comment: the word was originally spelled with a hyphen: “e-thanolopression,” which makes total sense given its original meaning. Through the ages, however, this was dropped by lazy spellers who felt it was beneath them to use the ring finger of their right hand to press an extra key [see: “ROFLMAO” “UR GR8” “BTW” and “BRB”] Created by: XMbIPb.

wow!

Eliquoreckoning: /ee lik er rekon ing/ Having the Stag party to his upcoming nuptials at his own swinging bachelor pad was, in hindsight, probably not such a great idea. At some point during the boozefest, it seemed to Kirk funny to forward e-mails to his prospective father-in-law and bride. In the foggy dawn of his wedding day the next morning, the e-mails had lost their humor…the day of eliquoreckoning had arrived. The father apparently did not appreciate the on-line newspaper printing his obituary or getting tons of spam from Viagra companies, escort agencies and penile implant firms. His daughter objected just as strongly to all the e-mail she was getting from the local prison inmates and the public health clinic about her social disease inquiries. Surprisingly, he had a curt e-mail from the lovely Jolene cancelling their wedding and from her father, one threatening every kind of legal action and public shunning. On the other hand, Kurt was inspired to invent a booze shield which prevents e-mail from working if alcohol is detected on the breath of the sender…he’s filthy rich now. It’s called a Breath-e-lizer. Etymology: e-(electronic communication); Liquor (alcohol, booze) & Reckoning (an unpleasant or disastrous destiny;consequence of an action) Created by: Nosila.

Intoxicommunication: /1ntɑksəkəmyoōnəkāshən/ When Joe woke up Monday morning he was terrified to discover that he had indulged in intoxicommunication the night before. He had apparently decided to tell everybody he knows about his inner-most secrets. He was more than a little concerned to see that he had dozens and dozens of messages waiting for him. He was greatly relieved to find that his touch-typing skills had failed him. 99% of what he sent out was utter gibberish. Most of the reply messages consisted of **Huh?**. Etymology: intoxication (of alcoholic drink or a drug; cause someone to lose control of their faculties or behavior) + communication (the imparting or exchanging of information or news) Created by: artr.

She had been very careful at disguising her true age…hair died dark chocolate brown, wrinkle creams galore, wearing trendy, youthful clothes, etc. What Joan did not know was that the kiddies weren’t blind…they’d seen her taking Geritol breaks, wearing support hose, having hot flashes and most tellingly, they’d seen the big box of Depends in her bottom desk drawer…damn those tv commercials she thought!
