Autodweller

Created by: Nosila

Pronunciation: otto dwel ler

Sentence: Danny had become an autodweller when his stocks plummeted, the bank foreclosed and he lost his home. He moved his family to the country and parked their family sedan, which became their new home. He was not sure if he were a Dodgelodger, an Autonomad, a Vehiculardomicile, Hyundenizen, or a CarResident...the sedantics did not matter. There were a few advantages to living the gypsy life. They could tour the country, meet new people, try new schools every month and redecoration was an obsolete word to them...at least until the gas ran out!

Etymology: Auto (automobile;4-wheeled motor vehicle; usually propelled by an internal combustion engine) & Dweller (a person who inhabits a particular place)

Tajmauhaul

artr

Created by: artr

Pronunciation: täzhməyoōhäl

Sentence: When Todd's company decided to move him to LA they made no provisions for higher cost of living. Finding a home or apartment that he could afford was next to impossible. He did however note that they allowed for the rental of truck to be used for self-movers for as long as was necessary. That's when Todd moved into the Tajmauhaul. He opted for the 24-foot model to allow for optimal viewing of his plasma TV. It was as big as some of the efficiencies he had looked at and considerably cheaper under the leasing plan. The only issue he has had is that speed bump in the company parking lot sloshing water out of his new hot tub. Next month he is considering adding bay windows.

Etymology: Taj Mahal (a mausoleum at Agra, India, built by the Mogul emperor Shah Jahan (1592–1666) in memory of his favorite wife) + U-Haul (a rental truck company)
