Sentence: "Yeah. It is a very big job, isn't it," Kenny said. "But we can do it, don't' anyone forget. We can do it if we just remember that we can't do it without one another's help." Bob nodded agreement, paused for a moment as if to ponder the truth in what Kenny had just said, and then spoke: "I have some ideas, Kenny," he said, enthusiastically taking a small notebook from his brief case. " I'd like to get your thoughts on them." Some of the things that Kenny and the others liked most about Bob was the way he listened to them; saw that they had the major role in decision making, and insisted they take all the credit for successful outcomes. Nevertheless, in time, it seemed strange, as Kenny thought more deeply about it, that Bob, despite all his enthusiastic utterances, never aspired, or sought to play any real role in the running of the Club. Already growing quickly in Kenny's mind was the picture of Bob as a pallid pretender, whose words were simply spoken to vimboozle them.
