Sentence: The cat wanted to glarify his point that more treats and toys were in order so he waited until Sharon had gone to sleep. Cattygoreyes

Created by: Tigger

Pronunciation: /kat-ee-gor-ayz/

Sentence: Max secretly delighted in mildly tormenting his 'person' — the Can Opener Lady, as he affectionately thought of her. She always wanted to go to sleep at the same time every night though, which was just strange, so it was easy to justify harassing her. He knew that staring at her while she was awake agitated her, but he'd discovered that even when her eyes were closed he could cattygoreyes her, boring his stare into the back of her head, and making her squirm. At the same time, Max would idly try to send her thoughts of getting up and work the can opener again, or making that fake mouse on a string come to life, as she sometimes did. Maybe it wasn't nice to tease the Can Opener Lady, but how else was he supposed to amuse himself late at night?

Etymology: Catty - slyly malicious (from Low Latin, cattus "cat"[-like]) + Gore - to pierce or stab (from Scottish, gorren) + Eyes - organs of sight (from Old English, ēge)

Eyesickle

Created by: OZZIEBOB

Pronunciation: AHY-si-kuhl

Sentence: The icy glare of the glass eye Bob got from the KGB Disposal's shop in Moscow was as chilly as a Siberian winter. And out of the shadows of darkness, Roxie swore that it was watching her. Often she would wake from sleep and yelled, " My God! It knows what I dreaming about." Bob told her not to worry, that the Cold War was now but an icicle and she was reading too much Orwell. Furthermore as he was so happy with his eyesickle, and having heard about a new Russian made prosthesis, named: "glassnose", he was thinking of ordering one also.

Etymology: Blend of EYE & SICKLE, with ICICLE in mind.

creepy but funny - Jabberwocky, 2008-03-18: 14:53:00

You'd think Bob would get pink eye from such a creation. I'm sure Roxy will find a way of Stalin, instead of letting Bob go Russian out to buy a new nose! It would be quite a Tass to blow his glassnose without breaking it! I am sure he could buy a couple of moles from that KGB Shop, too! Starewolf

Created by: Banky

Pronunciation: stair-wulf

Sentence: Lynn gasped audibly as she opened her eyes, her reflection mirrored in twin dead reflecting pools, sanguine in the light from the alarm clock. She froze in place as fetid hot breath assaulted her nostrils. She tried to form the words to wake her husband, but they were lost in his cavernous snores. The beast opened its rancorous mouth and licked her full on across the mouth, and then bolted for the door. A mixture of chewed kleenex and rawhide dotted her cheek as she realized the starewolf was just the dogs needing to go out. Groaning when she saw the time, she rolled back over and pretended to accidentally elbow her husband in the face, feigning sleep as he dutifully rose to let the twin monsters out to sour the lawn with their feculence.

Etymology: stare + wolf; ala werewolf
