Schmecktstasy: /shmek sta see/ When Kevin Kruller and Brenda Bismarck met for a coffee date each week, they inevitably had to try the latest flavours of donuts. Since Homer’s Donuts (mmmm donuts…) prided itself on inventing new flavours each week, this sweet couple had to try them all. They became Homer’s guinea pigs for his new creations and were in schmecktstasy. They also helped him give them quirky names, like the Holey Grail, Peaches & Cream Cheese, The Loonie Bin (covered in nuts) and Lard of the Rings. Their suggestion, The Traffic Circle (chocolate icing, with potholes on it and yellow lane markings) remains the favourite choice of the cops who frequent Homer’s place. Labourpained: /lay bor paynd/ Tony had always become labourpained when it was time to do the dishes or help with chores. Amazing how many of his afflictions were cured by a nap on the couch. His wife Nicole got the last laugh. After her surgery, she had the doctor send her home with a note declaring she could not do heavy housework like vacuuming or snow shovelling for the next five years…her spouse would need to take over those duties. They were examples of doodiligents and they knew Tress would cut, tease and brush them off if they cropped her style. They knew the fall out would be permanent and the best treatment was to streak out of her way and not frost her off worse. By extension, the mane reason they liked her was that her locks were to dye for, shorn nuff.
