VERBOTICISMS: (Invented words created by the Verbotomy Writers)
Wrapscallion: /rap skal leon/ The Cd’s and Dvd’s were so painful to open, that George suspected an unscrupulous wrapscallion plot was afoot. Yes after careful examination, he decided it was a nefarious scheme, the same one which kept the elderly from getting at their meds’ bottles. Or the unenlightened to try and open a package of sticky notes. Why even the clever new knife designed specifically to open such hard plastic packages came in one…what was the world coming to??? Etymology: Wrap (packaging;the covering (usually paper or cellophane) in which something is wrapped) & Rapscallion (a deceitful and unreliable scoundrel)

brilliant!
Boobywrap: /boÅbÄ“rap/ Jerry bought a new video game. It turned out to be a boobywrap. He cut up his fingers so badly getting the package open that he had to wait a week to try out the game. Etymology: booby-trap (a thing designed to catch the unwary) + wrap (cover or enclose) Created by: artr.
Stinkwrap: /stink- rap/ After fighting the stinkwrap keeping me from my much sought after Sims game, I finally broke down and chewed the plastic off. I would have been more upset, but I did grow up during hte time when new CDs came in a plastic cage, making it impossible to listen to them before you could get home and cut away the plastic with bolt cutters. That was the 90s version of stinkwrap. Etymology: stink (as in that stinks to voice displeasure) + shrinkwrap Created by: libertybelle.

smelly good…
Gitwrapping: /git-rap-ping/ The supermarket bosses were laughing up their sleeves. Not only were their gullible consumers buying thousands of unnecessary bog-offs, they’d get home and be unable to successfully open the gitwrapping. Subsequent frustration would inevitably lead to broken DVDs and the consumer would have to go back next day and buy a replacement. Kerching! Etymology: git (offensive slang for a stupid or annoying person) + wrapping (protective covering on merchandise) + giftwrapping (pretty paper used to cover presents) Created by: CharlieB.
