She felt much safer and sexier by having her real photo go through a doppeldigitze process, so that she looked younger, fairer, thinner and more attractive and possibly even a richer persona. Of course, at this rate, she could never risk meeting these friends in person, lest they see they had been fooled. What she failed to understand was that they also doppeldigitized themselves, so that she could never recognize them from their photo-shopped images. Sadly, these were the most honest and real friends she had ever cultivated. Pixosis: /pix-os-is/ Her psychiatrist’s treatment of pixosis was to get her, over time, to use older and older versions of Photoshop until she weaned herself of the program.

Prisstine: /pristÄ“n/ There are two Judys. The one that most people see on a daily basis and the online one. The first is sort of plain with limp brown hair, the other looks like she should be on the cover of a fashion magazine. The online Judy is prisstine. Her skin is flawless, the hair perfect. It should be. She has borrowed almost all her features from top models. There is a portion of one nostril that remains from her original photo. Most of her **real world** friends haven’t signed up for her facebook page because they don*t recognize her. Slimmaging: /slim-ma-ging/ Slimmaging lets everyone see the real me — a svelte rock and roll diva who can still tear it up in a black leather jumpsuit. Pay no attention to the grandmother baking cookies in the kitchen singing nursery rhymes to a two year old, that’s just some woman who lives in my house. She’d been visiting her last boyfriend, in prison, when she’d met Spike, just being released on parole. But when Donna called sister to tell her about Spike, her sister said it was another act of ‘redumbdunce.’ Her last ten boyfriends had all been convicts and criminals. Blunderasunder: /blun der as sunder/ Folly Walnuts was one of the more minor members of the “The Crew”. Although his heart and loyalty were in the right places, his brain & judgement had always been away on vacation. When the Mob Boss ordered Folly to off the Secretary of State for his views on organized crime, Folly as per usual misread his instruictions and instead whacked a secretary oft late, which was Miss Tardy A. Lot, who happened to work for Homeland Security. Not only was it a blunderasunder on Folly’s part, but he is now enjoying the sunshine and exercise of a Cuban vacation in Gitmo…permanently! Even when he has time to ponder a decision, he overthinks it and usually corrects the correction back to the error. Feelastoplast: /fee lasto plast/ His wife Mary had bravely and quietly undergone 24 hours of painful labor before having a C-section to deliver their 12 pound son. She never cried or let the pain overcome her or distress those around her. The breathing from the Lamaze classes had certainly helped. Her husband Harry, on the other hand, carried on something fierce when the nurse had helped him remove the feelastoplast from his arm, where blood samples had been extracted. His screams were chilling and continued on long after the bandage was gone. This, as Mary’s Mother had quickly pointed out, was why the men did not get pregnant and carry on the Human Race. Now it is just a phone (soon to be a pho or fo?) He also knows that he is quickly running out of mon(ey). Exquizmo: /eks kwiz mo/ On their second Christmas together, you’d think he’d have learned. When she opened the fancy wrapping of her gift, she was blown away by the deep flamingo colour, studded in rhinestones. It looked high-tech, but gorgeous and she tried to guess what was the real purpose of this exquizmo present. He’d selected it himself in a store and thought it was pretty. A few minutes later their warm cozy Christmas morning turned icy when she realized it was a fancy ladies’ razor. “Am I really that hairy?” she demanded.
