Hey James, my word (and a few others' words) still aren't showing up under "show new." Just letting you know.
Osomatic - 2007-06-28: 12:36:00
Hey James, this whole "Classic" and "Text" thing is kind of confusing. Go ahead and run the "classics," but maybe not run the new contests at the same time? Also, what's the difference between "text" and the verboticisms we used to do? They seem essentially the same.
Osomatic - 2007-06-28: 12:37:00
What I meant was sure, let's do classics, but just have one contest per day. Throw in the classics every now and then. Once or twice a week, say.
Jabberwocky - 2007-06-28: 13:56:00
If everyone is happy with the text and no cartoons for the summer, maybe that would be the easiest.
purpleartichokes - 2007-06-28: 15:38:00
Hey James, I think the scoring is messed up again. I voted for a word and it only got 2 points in rankings view. I think someone left a gremlin out in verbotsnia. I suspect Clayton.
Jabberwocky - 2007-06-28: 15:40:00
I suspect 'someone left the clayton in the rain'
purpleartichokes - 2007-06-28: 16:14:00
gawd I hate that song... (i don't think that I can take it...)
Jabberwocky - 2007-06-28: 16:29:00
but it took so long to bake it
Clayton - 2007-06-28: 17:41:00
... and I'll never have that recipe again.
Stevenson0 - 2007-06-28: 18:23:00
OH NOOOO!!!
purpleartichokes - 2007-06-28: 18:49:00
ACK!! Stop it, or I'm telling!! Why do I torture myself so by hanging out with the likes of you turdbotomists? Ya big poopyheads! Now I'm going to have nightmares about Clayton belching in my drain! I hope you're satisfied.
Clayton - 2007-06-28: 20:53:00
I wouldn't call that a nightmare per se.
All the sweet green icing flowing down... I don't think that I can take it! ~ James
Does this mean that double Verbotomy is toast? I can't do comics next week. Do you want to do oldies (Classics) next week? Or new ones without cartoons (i.e. Text)? ~ James
Fixed the "Show New" link by removing it. ~ James
Osomatic - 2007-06-29: 13:29:00
I hadn't understood the "text" part of it - yes, sure, that's fine for the summer.
mplsbohemian - 2007-07-01: 19:47:00
I didn't even know that I was confused between text and classic til now, meaning a day or two I entered Classic when I would have rather entered Text. I adore the illustrations, but we can live a week without them.
