Sentence: Our extended family got through Christmas Day OK, without too many family arguments and strife. That was mostly because Cousin Wyno was too drunk to really talk much and fell asleep at the table, Grandma Maddie was giving everyone the silent treatment because of some imagined slight from Thanksgiving, and Uncle Dick was too busy looking at women's cleavage when he thought no one would notice. We probably shouldn't have pushed our luck and decided to get together again for New Year's Eve.... Sure enough, it was another family imbrogliohnonotagain, complete with accusations, confidences (and some dishes) broken, yelling, and crying. The only New Year's resolutions that ended up being made were renewed promises to "never speak to you again!"
