They usually appeared to be alert and perceptive young adults, although that may have just been from all the caffeine. So, why didn't these people have jobs? Who was supporting these flocks of coffee house beatniks, sitting around scowling at the rest of the world, and sipping expensive café mocha lattes?

Sentence: They are in there every morning like clockwork. Nursing one coffee for 2-3 hours every day. In fast food places, coffeehouses and other places with free refills and free bathrooms. The Grumpause. They complain about everything...the weather, politics, doctors, kids today and how they don't build things like they used to. They complain about the cost of everything and sort out the world's problems without actually doing anything. The next day, they start all over again...they've told so many stories so often, they can't remember. They are retired...they put in more time here than they did at their jobs. They mainly do this as an S.O.A...Spousal Avoidance Opportunity!

Sentence: Roger is completely idlepated. He is so annoyed at not having a job that he refuses to look for one. Afterall, doing so means he has to come in contact with the very people who put him in this state to begin with.
