The Grumpause. They complain about everything...the weather, politics, doctors, kids today and how they don't build things like they used to. Sentence: Linda rarely got up from her seat at the local Sternbucks. Only her eyes moved from side to side, tracking the happy-if-not-jittery over-cafeinated customers who happily went on their way throughout the day, while her own esspresso double latte with skim milk and a sprig of cinnamon emptied from her cup more from evaporation than from actually being drunk. Her apouthetic stance contributed nothing to the world but an elbow worn spot on the table, a permanent scowl on her face, and snickering comments from regular customers who would often purposely tried to engage her in overtly cheery conversation to see how she would react.

Sentence: Veronica hated going to the coffee shop next to the building where she worked because it seemed to always be filled with fateful, indifferent, Generation-Y'ers who were filled with javapathy, and acted world-weary and jaded beyond their years. They usually appeared to be alert and perceptive young adults, although that may have just been from all the caffeine. So, why didn't these people have jobs? Who was supporting these flocks of coffee house beatniks, sitting around scowling at the rest of the world, and sipping expensive café mocha lattes?

Sentence: Naomi thought it very fashionable and cool to adopt lattetude. So after her community service in the sanitation department she took to hanging around cafés adopting poses and pouts to convey her disinterest in everything, while spending a fortune on café lattés.

Sentence: Xavier was a real crabbibeano, and he liked his coffee the way he saw the world -- hot, strong and bitter. But due to limited financial resources and his unlimited amount of time (he was going to be an artist), he would spend his entire day sulking in the corner nursing a single espresso until it was tepid, bland and empty -- like his imagination.
