DEFINITION: A discussion among family members, or room mates, which often turns into a full-blown yelling match, and which seems to occur every night whenever it's time to do the dishes.
DEFINITION: To eat your favorite food, not because you are hungry, but because you are feeling sad or lonely.
DEFINITION: A state of heightened, subconscious awareness that allows drivers to "safely" navigate and control a vehicle without watching the road.
DEFINITION: To recognize and loudly greet a friend only to realize that it is a complete stranger, who now thinks that you are somewhat odd.
DEFINITION: A group of runners that moves as a single entity, ignoring traffic signals and pedestrians alike.
DEFINITION: A voice mail message, which does not include a name, a number, or any other relevant information which could be used to identify the caller.
DEFINITION: A psychological dependency on electronic messaging which often leads to compulsive emailing, even among people who are sitting inches apart.
DEFINITION: An individual who is so self-absorbed and cocksure that they cannot understand why their mating calls, or "pick-up lines", do not generate the desired response.
