DEFINITION: n. A group of runners that moves as a single entity, ignoring traffic signals and pedestrians alike. v. To run in a herd without watching where you are going.
DEFINITION: n. That sinking feeling you get when you realize that you will be shedding your winter coat, before you can possibly shed the extra layer of insulation (i.e. fat) that you gained over the winter. v. To worry about your weight.
DEFINITION: v. To listen intently and sympathize with your colleagues when they request assistance, and then to simply, and completely, forget about it. n. The ability to sympathize with, yet ignore, requests for help.
DEFINITION: To enter a crowded public place such as a bar or restaurant, only to find it deserted within minutes of your entrance.
DEFINITION: n. A fashion accessory, or an approach to personal hygiene, which is designed, not to attract others, but rather to repel them. v. To dress for protection.
DEFINITION: n. An individual who is so self-absorbed and cocksure that they cannot understand why their mating calls, or "pick-up lines", do not generate the desired response. v. To repeatedly issue mating calls.
DEFINITION: n. The slow but steady rise of murmurs, coughs or harrumphs in audience. May indicate dissatisfaction, or the presence of a lethally infectious virus. v. To clear one's throat
DEFINITION: n. A state of reduced mental capacity, caused by an inability to think of anything but an annoying pop song, which seems to be endlessly repeating itself in your mind. v. To play a stupid song in your head, over and over again.
